My soul taken by the wind
My heart taken by your greed
My happiness taken by you. By you alone
I won't leave,
Replacement? but replacement was not needed
I was there. I dried your tears and listened to your stories
But I was replaced. like I was no other
not breathing. not seeing
I will never understand why and I will never ask
We ran together like the world was our territory
Miles and Miles, we survived together
We were grey flashes confusing the ‘surounders’ eye
We ran along together as we were the only ones
You won’t understand my sorrowful words but you do hear my cry
and you do hear my shattering bones to know you treasure another as you treasured me
Our time was a journey through affection and loss but I don’t regret it
even though I shall never howl again
The word ‘replacement’ will always choke my dreams and suffocate my soul
